About the Project

Middle East and the Gulf countries became the region of strategic importance for Ukraine, because it was observed that there was an export increase of such Ukrainian goods into the Gulf region such as the products of metallurgy, agriculture, fertilizers, etc.  Ukrainian and Arab businessmen see incredible potential for the development of cooperation between our countries. One of the challenges that most Arab businessmen are facing is the lack of information about Ukraine. Available information about Ukraine investment opportunities is often distorted. This is why the creation of this web-site is aimed to become fair Arab Gateway to Ukraine, providing information on the investment conditions as well as political and economic features of the country.

Lately the internet became the main comprehensive source of the information. The low-cost and nearly instantaneous sharing of ideas, knowledge, and skills has made collaborative work dramatically easier. Not only can a group cheaply communicate and test, but the wide reach of the internet allows such groups to easily form and even find niche interests.

The development of the internet became especially rapid and fast in the Arab countries. At the moment there are nearly 14 million Arab users of the global information network. The internet continues to make inroads into the Arab world as the number of users rises. The establishment of local internet service providers, the development of Arabic language web browsers and computer software, as well as increased consumer demand has helped to drive growth of the World Wide Web. With this in mind the project intends to fill in the information gap concerning Ukraine in the Arab world. The web-site will provide the information about Ukraine, its economy and investment opportunities both in English and Arabic languages.

CFC Consulting Company is a Kyiv-based consultancy that has significant expertise in the country-image and investment promotion projects for Ukraine and other CIS countries, launched the project, which has the following goals:
