277 Ukrainian Businesses Export Products to the EU

As of November 25, 2016, the number of Ukrainian exporters to the EU markets reached 277 companies.
“We see the progress in promotion of our domestic producers to the EU markets. For instance, 277 Ukrainian companies gained the right to export their products to the EU. This include 97 food producers and 180 companies that make non-animal products,” said Volodymyr Lapa, Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (FSCP).
In addition, Lapa said that seven out of 97 companies listed produce poultry and by-products, 19 produce fish and seafood and two produce eggs and egg products. Forty-nine companies are specialized in honey production, five in frog legs and snails, one makes collagen and another one produces raw casings.
Thirteen Ukrainian dairy products companies have been authorized to export their main products to the EU in 2016.
