National Institutions
Official governmental institutions in Ukraine often
serve as white pages when it comes to doing business as the economy is closely
supervised by the government. In order to start business you need to go through a
number of legal procedures at the corresponding state institutions to obtain
needed permission, certificates and licenses. Doing
business here is not always easy, but guaranteed to be exciting. The
market opportunities range from agricultural and medical equipment to aircrafts
and machinery, renewable energy, oil and gas production, computer software and
services, pharmaceuticals and travel services.
Even though there may
appear some obstacles, such as language barrier and significant differences
between international and local standards, Ukraine’s
white pages will come in handy. Below you can find links to the Ukrainian parliament Verkhovna Rada (to take account of the local laws), the
ministries and major state agencies and services (for legal procedures).
